NIOS Login: NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling. It was established in 1989. At the level of Secondary as well as Senior Secondary level, NIOS is offering General and Academic courses. Apart from these courses, it is also offering vocational courses. In addition, it is offering Elementary Level Courses.

The main aim is to promote education in far remote areas. Its focus is on increasing education. They provide the opportunity for flexible learning.

It conducts examination for class 10th and 12th. After 12th class, it also provides vocational courses.

Courses At NIOS

There are many courses at NIOS. These are as follows.

• Secondary Course. It is equivalent to class 10th.
• Senior Secondary Course. It is equivalent to class 12th.
• Life enrichment courses
• Vocational educational courses
• D.El.Ed Course
• Open Basic Education Programme. It has three levels.
  • OBE ‘A’ Level course. This level is equivalent to Class III.
  • OBE ‘B’ Level course. Level B course is equivalent to class V
    OBE ‘C’ Level course. This one is equivalent to class VIII

NIOS conducts examination twice in a year. Therefore, students need to collect information. Through login, they can get full details on the admit card. Further, they can get an online result. Log in must have a unique application ID. Hence, it also has a password. Do not tell the password to others.

They will get login details at the time of admission. However, they must not give these details to other people. It should be kept with them only.

• Visit the official website. Click on this link, https://sdmis.nios.ac.in/auth.
• You will navigate to another page. At this page, enter information. It is as follows:
  • Username/Email
  • Password
• Enter the captcha
• Click on Login button.

However, one can also choose NIOS login via either enrollment number or reference number.

When you choose the enrollment number, then the candidate enters the following details.

• Enter either the enrollment no. or reference no.
• Enter the date of birth
