IGNOU BDP Course Details
In terms of students IGNOU is world’s largest university. It has nearly forty lacs students. It has twenty one streams for studies. The University has sixty-seven study centers across the nation. Also the university has its presence in fifteen nations. University offers more than two hundred academic programs. The University has nearly twenty percent students of India studying for higher education.
Bachelors Degree Program briefly knows as BDP. IGNOU offers BDP in fifteen different subjects. It offers a lot of graduate courses like B.A., B.Com, B.sc, BBA etc. Any person who is 12th pass or equivalent can apply for this. There is no age limits for this course. The least time for the course is three years. The maximum time of the course is six years. Exams take place once per year. For failure students, they got a second chance to pass within six months. Exams take place in the month of June and December. Marks of exam used to evaluate in two ways:
- 30% from the Assignment Work, and
- 70% from the marks obtain in Exams.
