IGNOU Assignment Results
IGNOU Grade Card issues the assignment marks. The Term End Exam do not contain the assignment marks. The grade card of the student includes the assignment marks, practical marks and theory marks. On-Demand Examination
The On-Demand Examination is a unique feature of studying with IGNOU. This allows candidates to dictate their exam schedule. The condition is that they got to complete the required study period. Simply put the candidate will be eligible to avail this only after finishing the term of the said course. This started with two certificate level programmes. Altogether this scheme today covers more than 135 courses covering approximately 30 programmes. The link for accessing the On-Demand Examination is this.
Practicals
First of all the Practicals takes place in a two-fold manner, which itself depends on the nature of the course. The practicals for the computer-based programmes goes on a regular basis. The designated study centre is responsible for these practicals. The Headquarters release the calendar for the practicals, which regional centres transfer to study centres. Consequently, all study centres follow these dates for practicals. January and July are the months for practicals exams. The dates might change for the practical exams. They might change and possibly hold in different months. The study centres conduct the practicals and then transfer evaluation towards Student Evaluation Division (SED).
Finally for BSc and Post Basic BSc Nursing and others, the practicals takes place in between one to two weeks. Most of all the practicals for Engineering and Technology also occurs in a regular manner in one to two weeks. Additionally, the host Institution is responsible for the conduct of these exams at their convenience. So the evaluation takes place on a continuous basis. This happens throughout the process of evaluation through practicals. The end of the course spell, concludes with the end of the term practical examination. Accordingly, the whole process includes the final grade of aggregated marks for practicals.
IGNOU Practical Grade
The students receive marks based on the continuous and term-end evaluations and also the viva-voce. The study centre gets the marks of students from the regional hub. The pupils also need to attend the practicals in B.Ed and DECE. The School Based practicals are for the students of B.Ed and DECE. Especially relevant the evaluation is different in here as the report prepared by learners dictates their marks. As a result, the report quality should be good to get decent grades.
