The Government of Karnataka has launched Vidyasiri Scholarship. Since 2013, it is providing financial help to minority including Christians, Parsis, Muslims and so on. Further, it includes a backward class. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched this programme. It provides financial support. Now, students who cannot continue education because of the financial problem can study.
So, basically it is giving financial assistance to the parents. With this financial help, their children can pursue education. This aims towards empowering backward class.
Under this scheme, a student will receive RS 1500 per month. They will get the stipend for ten months. The scholarship is for class 9th to Doctoral studies.
To avail the benefit, one needs to go online. The entire process is online only. No offline mode is available. Even, the stipend will receive through Electronic Payment System of Scholarships (E-PASS). But, the stipend will transfer to the bank account of the beneficiary.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Last Date
All the dates for application will get available online only. So, students need to visit the official website. Hence, the official website will have all the important dates. Thus, the website will display the commencement date for application. Further, it will also show the last date for submission of application. If the last date is extended, then also the website will have information. So, the student will know about all these on the official website only.
For the coming session, dates are not available. But soon, they will get available on the website. So, check the website on regular basis. It will help the students in keeping the updates with them.
